I am a High School teacher with 7 years of educational experience and I am currently completing my Masters' degree in Instructional design. I enjoy creating curriculum that is engaging, interactive, and anchored in learning theory. I also believe in experimenting with different techniques, methods, and ways to teach Spanish in order to ensure learners with different needs reach proficiency in Spanish. The value of Spanish is to enrich a person's life with a skill that is increasingly more important as we continue to develop in a globalized economy. Spanish is not just a language but a collective set of cultures ranging from Central to South America and European. My purpose as a teacher is to reach a wide audience of learners who want to acquire Spanish as a second language and be able to enjoy the world at large with a skill whether it be used in business or just fun interpersonal settings with Spanish speakers. Why do you think learning a language via TV and Films is so great?

Learning a language via TV and Films is great because it centers around a story, a plot, or something visual that is representative of life but illustrative of real world, real-life scenarios making language contextual and accessible.
