Ven a Cantar - Mijares

"Ven a Cantar" (English: "Come to Sing") is a song by Mexican singer Manuel Mijares, released as the second single from his sixth studio album, Todo Mijares (1992). Written by Spanish singer-songwriter José María Cano of Mecano, the song is a romantic ballad about a man who invites his beloved to sing and dance with him. The song became a major hit in Mexico, where it topped the charts and was certified gold. It also reached number five in Spain and number one in Argentina and Uruguay. The accompanying music video was filmed in Madrid, Spain and directed by Spanish director Pedro Carrasco.
