El Choclo - Tita Merello
El Choclo (English: The Corncob) is a popular tango written by Ángel Villoldo, an Argentine musician.
About the lyrics, Villoldo himself said he was referring to corn (cob), for him, the most tasty ingredient of the pot, but other versions also circulate; related to the nickname of an alleged compadrito whose hair was the color of corn or some explanation with a double intention proper to the brothel environments.
