By Lingopie ∙ Playlist ∙ 15 songs
WINO is a Japanese rock band formed in 1995, originally named ボグ・マイトルスター Boku Maitorusutaa before adopting the name WINO in 1996. Their music, heavily influenced by British bands like The Beatles, led to frequent comparisons with Oasis. They gained prominence with "Taiyou wa Yoru mo Kagayaku," the second opening theme for the 1999 anime Hunter × Hunter. The band disbanded in 2002 but reunited in February 2024. Their discography includes albums like Useless Music, DIRGE No.9, and LION.
