La bambola is an original song by Patty Bravo revisited by D'Argen D'Amico. Based on Patty Bravo's big hit, it has been one of the most iconic songs in the history of Italian music, thanks in part to Patty Pravo's account of women in relationships. In fact, the original lyrics denounce the treatment suffered by women by their men, describing them as dolls adrift of their choices: from exploitation for their own pleasure, to rejection when the woman is then no longer seen as "useful."
