My name is Denise Van Zant. I'm originally from Los Angeles, CA, and I'm currently living in Merida, Mexico. I started teaching children English when I was in Thailand, even before receiving my TEFL certificate. I love working with kids because they see things in a completely different way than adults do. I was also a Docent at the Getty Center museum in Los Angeles, doing school group tours of the museum and engaging the kids in conversations about art. Although I love kids, I think teaching adults English is equally rewarding. Click for less
