Why do you think learning a language via TV and Films is so great?

Because it is one of the closest experiences to real contact with a person who speaks the language I want to learn. Without these experiences, the theoretical content loses relevance.

Why do you think learning a language via TV and Films is so great?

It is the most active-passive way of learning. By repeatedly listening to a word you begin to understand its pronunciation. And you can repeat the phrases in the way a native would say it.

I speak, read and write fluently in Portuguese, Dutch, English and Spanish. My passion for languages, I believe, has influenced my capacity to think on my feet and outside the box. Coming from an international background has really defined who I am today. I have lived in four different countries (Portugal, Netherlands, Mexico and Colombia) which has allowed me to study and work in international environments and given me the opportunity to develop a particular talent for thinking, communicating, and analyzing in different languages at the same time. Additionally, I have experienced working with people from different countries and cultures. This has allowed me to become a fast-thinking, solution-oriented and open minded person in all kinds of social and professional settings. Click for less
