I am an English national, from the east of England ( County of Norfolk ) with family from around the London area in the south east. Apart from an interesting in historical linguistics ( especially Old and Middle English and the connection to continental Germanics ) I am interested in nature, especially wild plants, organising walks, creating music. From growing up when young, in a totally different culture, I have a grasp of empathising with different cultural ideas. Also, with a family with some Italian background, a grandparent, who also founded an English school for young children, in a non European country. Click for less

Why do you think learning a language via TV and Films is so great?

I think via any aural and visual medium, there is a chance to see the physical expressions also, gestures, which can be cultural also and apart of emphasising speech rhythms and patters, which help learners identify 'meaning'.
