Here’s whats going on
Episode 01:

Pablo, along with his cousin Gustavo, are taking full control of the Colombian police through threats and bribes in order to forge an extensive network of illegal trafficking. To do so, they employ their peculiar "silver or lead" policy, forcing them to decide between accepting their money or else ending their lives and those of their families. However, his plans reach a higher level when he receives a visit from Cucaracha, a drug trafficker from Chile who encourages him to start a cocaine business, whose destination will be Miami. But their plans are being watched: DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Peña will follow in their footsteps.


Pablo, junto con su primo Gustavo, se van haciendo con todo el control de la policía colombiana a base de amenazas y sobornos en su objetivo de forjarse una extensa red de tráfico ilegal. Para ello, emplea su peculiar política de "plata o plomo", obligándoles a decidir entre aceptar su dinero o, de lo contrario, acabará con sus vidas y la de sus familias. Sin embargo, sus planes alcanzan una cota más alta cuando recibe la visita de Cucaracha, un narcotraficante de Chile que le incita a iniciarse en el negocio de la cocaína, cuyo destino será Miami. Éste, junto a Gustavo, los hermanos Ochoa y Gacha se encargarán de manejar a un extenso cártel de droga en la ciudad de Medellín. Pero sus planes están siendo vigilados: los agentes de la DEA Steve Murphy y Javier Peña seguirán sus pasos muy de cerca.
