Here’s whats going on
Episode 08:

Lidia agrees to marry Carlos. Carlota learns that the Rotary will put the telephone operators out of work and resents Miguel for having invented it. Francisco goes to Beltrán's house and finds him dead, but when he goes to tell Lidia he sees that she is engaged. The girls argue with Lidia because she betrayed them by not telling them about the plans for the Rotary and she promises to talk to Carlos so they don't lose their jobs. Carlos' mother convinces him to implement the Rotary in Madrid soon, so Lidia must decide between her friends and her fiancé


Lidia acepta casarse con Carlos. Carlota se entera de que el Rotary dejará sin trabajo a las telefonistas y reclama a Miguel por haberlo inventado. Francisco va a la casa de Beltrán y lo encuentra muerto, pero al ir a contarle a Lidia se da cuenta de que está comprometida. Las chicas discuten con Lidia pues las traicionó al no contarles sobre los planes del Rotary y ella promete hablar con Carlos para que no pierdan su trabajo. La madre de Carlos lo convence de implementar pronto el Rotary en Madrid, por lo cual lidia debe decidir entre sus amigas o su prometido
